Prior to becoming the club Chairman, Dave spent 10 seasons plus as 1st XI Captain.  He has steered the club to 5 league titles.  When not involved in cricket, Dave is a keen collector of medieval Persian pornography and a fellow of the Royal Society of Master Onanists.

Sporting heroes: Gordon Strachan and Ian Botham.  Also Andy Day, a top player and bloke who was taken from us a few years ago after losing his battle with cancer

Favourite opponents: Heckmondwike and Carlinghow—I loved the battles over the years, always played in the right spirit, and always resulting in a beer afterwards, win or lose
